Womenswear Designer – Jersey & Woven

A leading fashion business requires a Womenswear Designer to join their team. You will focus on designing wovens and jersey wear.

You will be expected to complete trend research, develop complete ranges, and present to customers. A strong focus is placed on shape design and fabric knowledge, while skills in print and graphic design, though not essential, are considered an added advantage.

Experience working with suppliers and high-street fast fashion retailers is desired.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong understanding of high-street fashion and the ability to interpret and respond to current trends. Must be able to demonstrate a balance of creativity and commercial awareness, ensuring products are designed and manufactured in line with customer needs and critical timelines.

Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential, and 3D design skills are advantageous. The role also requires technical knowledge of garment construction and the ability to produce detailed tech packs. A positive, results-driven attitude and a degree-level qualification in fashion design, business, or retail-related fields are preferred.
