Women's Nightwear Designer - Print and Shape

An opportunity for a trend lead women’s nightwear designer to join a leading private label business, operating globally.

Working closely with the design manager, you will be responsible for the design and execution of women's nightwear across shape and print/graphics, for a leading UK high street retailer.

Day to day you will be researching the market via shopping trips to remain aware of and implementing direction and innovation across fabric/ colour/ shape / graphics and prints; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; presenting ranges to customers fortnightly in person in a confident manner; communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

The role will suit a passionate, creative and proactive women’s nightwear design specialist with a sound knowledge of processes and the ability to produce prints and graphics alongside shapes.
