At a glance: Role Title: Transport Administration Customer Delivery Hub Position: This position is a permanent role Hours of Work: Full Time, 37.5 Hours, Monday to Saturday, earliest start 06:00 am and latest finishing time 10: 00 pm. Bank Holiday work is required for this position. Location: Lister Street (CDH) Salary: The starting rate for this position is £24,400.00, Annual Shift Premium: 11.5% with a potential earning of up to £2,806, Annual (additional premium is based on hours worked) Please note: This role requires you to work on-site due to operational requirements. Our Customer Delivery Operations are a vital part of our business. Here at the Partnership, our Transport Administrator will take ownership of the department's operational success by assisting site management with daily tasks and project work, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and using your customer experience to be an ambassador of John Lewis and Partners. As our Transport administrator, you will: Undertake administrative tasks relating to Transport and vehicle legal compliance amongst other administration duties. Ensure the operation remains legally compliant with adherence to Domestic and EU Driver’s Hour regulations. Maintain effective relationships with external service providers & internal vehicle maintenance units. Monitor customer delivery routes to ensure high levels of customer service are met. Effectively communicating with all Partners and raising operational issues to the Transport/Site Management Teams in a timely manner, providing handovers at the end of your shift. Essential skills you will need: Experience or interest working in transport compliance Excellent PC Skills including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Transport Compliance systems for defective vehicles and driver's hours. Maths and very good communication skills, both verbal and written Good working knowledge of IT Systems Previous Administration experience Desirable Skills you can bring: Very good organisation and planning skills with a good working knowledge of Transport Legislation Knowledge of Telematics systems & Routeplanner Next Steps The application form consists of a CV upload followed by application questions.
