Technical Manager - Fashion

A Group Company with reputable global brands is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team in London, reporting to the Head of Product.
You must have covered jersey, knitwear and have at least 10 year's experience as a Garment Technologist.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Lead the Garment Technologist team across streetwear brands
• Lead the fit sessions - owning the fitting process and managing downwards to the team
• Manage garment tech functions across apparel, accessories, and footwear
• Develop and implement new systems, quality manuals, and product specifications
• Collaborate with factories, suppliers, and brand managers to ensure product quality and compliance
• Oversee fit sessions, factory audits, and testing requirements
• Lead sustainability initiatives and oversee product grading
• Coordinate digital product passports and maintain consistent fit standards across all ranges
• Testing & factory compliances
• Travel overseas as needed
• Provide production grading to factories.
• Create a brand block library, ensuring these are consistent to brand standard

Person Requirements:

• 10+ years in a technical role with management experience
• 8+ years of experience in jersey, knit, and woven products
• Strong pattern cutting, grading, and MS Office/Excel skills (Adobe is a plus)
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
• Experience with sustainable products is a bonus
