Stock Administrator

Here at Peacocks we have a fantastic opportunity for a Stock Allocator to join our Stock Allocation Department

The role of Stock Allocator is to maximise profits by placing the right stock in the right stores at the right time

Job Duties

· Initial Allocation Planning – to accurately allocate stock and to question intake and challenge allocation strategies

· Stock Replenishment – to use replenishment methods to maximise full price sales

· Grading – to understand the grading system to ensure stores receive appropriate quantities of stock

· Commercial awareness – to understand retailing and its need to adapt to rapidly changing customer demands

· Any other ad hoc duties required by the department from time to time

Ideal Candidate

· Strong IT literacy, particularly excel

· Comfortable working with spread sheets and figures

· Previous Experience in retail

· Commercial awareness and passionate about retail

· Highly organised

· Able to work well independently and as part of a team
