Senior Wovens Designer - Menswear

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a leading supplier to some of the biggest retailers in the UK and internationally. They are seeking a strong experienced Wovens Designer, primarily working across menswear for woven bottoms. This role will be working for one of their major accounts who are one of the largest fashion-forward retailers.

A strong commercial portfolio is required as well as previous supplier experience. Some hybrid working is offered with this role.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Complete trend research, design and develop ranges working with the overseas factories.
• Work closely and liaise with factories in Bangladesh China and Sri Lanka.
• Ability to create bestselling ranges.
• Attend regular meetings with buyers when required.
• Required to work in a fast-paced environment, high volume design/development.
• Sourcing of new fabrics and trims.

Person specifications:

• Design experience within woven bottoms.
• Previous supplier experience working with large volume retailers.
• Good understanding of garment costing.
• Excellent communication & organisational skills.
• Ladies or menswear experience.
