Contemporary Womenswear Designer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Designer to join a market leading premium highstreet womenswear brand.

This brand is synonymous with sexy and modern design, creating beautiful dresses, as well as elegant outerwear, woven/jersey sets and a newly launched bridal collection.

The Role:

-            Lead the design process from initial concept, design development, mood boarding, selecting materials and oversee through to PD and Production

-            Attend fits and update fit notes where necessary

-            Develop flat sketches and detailed tech packs

-            CAD up approved sketches in Illustrator.

-            Participate in research and identifying seasonal fashion, fabric, technique, trim and merchandise trends

-            Manage fabric development and strike-off/lab dip approvals

-            The position is based 5 days per week in their London offices

About you:

-            Previous experience working with a luxury brand is essential

-            Excellent Illustrator and Photoshop skills

-            Excellent in communication, organisation, and time management skills

The package:

-            Salary is dependent on experience
