Senior Rights Coordinator
At a glance Salary - £45,200 - £50,000 depending on experience Contract type - Permanent Working pattern/flexible working - This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises. Our Data privacy team currently works from the office roughly once twice a month to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings, but again the frequency is dependent on the business needs. Otherwise the expectation is that you engage with your stakeholders in the frequency and location that optimises the working relationship, and engagement to successfully enable you to do your role most. What you’ll do Provide leadership and day to day management and supervision of a team of Partner Rights Co-ordinators Lead team effectively to ensure all Rights requests are processed with the time frames set out within the Data Protection Act 2018. Quality check all Rights requests to ensure consistency and that the request has been fully actioned. Collate, analyse and submit stats to the Data Breach and Rights Manager and DPO on all requests on a monthly basis. This should include trend reporting and any mitigating actions required. Ensure all complaints involving Rights are investigated, escalated as required and responded to. In conjunction with the Data Breach and Rights Manager design, deploy and deliver training to all Partners on Rights management within the Partnership. Ensure all data breaches are logged and where necessary escalated to the Data Breach and Rights Manager. Provide stats to the Data Breach and Rights Manager and DPO on all Partnership-wide reported data breaches. This should include trend reporting and any mitigating actions required. In conjunction with the Data Breach and Rights Manager develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with Information Security Operations in relation to data breaches. In conjunction with the Data Breach and Rights Manager liaise with the Data Privacy Manager to ensure that all new DPISA’s submitted adequately cover the processing of Rights request. What you’ll have (Essential Skills and Experience) Privacy qualification such as ISEB CIPP/E Experience of leading a similar function in a large, complex organisation Detailed, current working knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 Experienced in using data and evidence to develop thinking and inform reasoned judgements to influence a wide audience. What else you could bring (Desirable Skills) Investigation skills with strong evidence of attention to detail Previous examples of successfully creating and delivering training to a wide audience Understanding of Network Security.
