We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join us to manage and enhance our internal and external communication channels, including our internal company intranet, LinkedIn page, and local Company website.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both internal and external communications and be able to engage and influence both employees and external stakeholders across a variety of platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Communication Management:
- Oversee the management and content creation for the company’s internal intranet, ensuring that all employees have access to up-to-date news, resources, and important company announcements.
- Develop and execute engaging internal communication campaigns that promote company culture, employee engagement, and important HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to create content that informs and motivates employees, such as internal blog posts, and event promotions.
- Monitor employee engagement on the intranet and gather feedback to continuously improve internal communications.
- External Social Media & Website Management:
- Manage and maintain the company’s LinkedIn page, ensuring consistent messaging, engagement with followers, and alignment with the company’s branding and values.
- Create and execute social media strategies to enhance the company’s online presence and attract talent, customers, and partners.
- Develop engaging and informative content (e.g., posts, articles, infographics) for LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels to increase brand visibility and thought leadership in the supply chain industry.
- Oversee content updates on the external company website, working closely with the web development team to ensure fresh, relevant content is always available.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and website analytics to adjust strategies for growth and engagement.
- Brand Consistency and Messaging:
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all media channels, adhering to the company’s brand guidelines and voice.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to highlight key initiatives and achievements.
- Act as a liaison between local teams and our global communications teams to ensure all content is aligned with overall company goals.
- Content Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a content calendar for both internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with different departments to gather content and updates to be shared across platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media, internal communications, and the supply chain industry to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, internal communications, or a similar role (preferably in a global or corporate environment).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and web content management systems.
