Senior Denim Designer – Womenswear

A leading fashion business requires a denim designer to join their growing Casualwear department.

You will support in the day-to-day operation of the denim design area; developing, trend research, design and development of an original and innovative range in line with the customer handwriting and business objectives.  

Reporting into the Head of the Department you will:

• Produce CADS across denimwear
• Design and Develop ranges throughout the season
• Set seasonal creativity and feed through to the design teams.
• Build ranges and allocate work to the teams.
• Create technical packs from initial stages through to final bulk production
• Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the supply base and ensure awareness throughout the wider team.
• Work with the supply chain team to ensure clarity of design and product development information both externally and externally.

You Must:

• Good understanding of womens denimwear
• Personal style to be highly organised and methodical
• Ability to use CAD
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and have an ability to work under own initiative
• Confident and articulate communicator with an ability to build strong relationships
• Ability to deliver to tight timescales and work under pressure
• Good eye for colour and trends
