Senior Buyer Lingerie

A major fashion brand is seeking a Senior Buyer/ Buying Manager to lead their lingerie division. This is an expat position based in Dubai.

You will be leading a team of buyers across various categories in the lingerie division , which is close to 100 million USD in turnover.

Senior Buyer Lingerie/ Buying Manager Lingerie: The role:

You will be responsible for:

- Leading the product strategy for lingerie, executing all product development  and range building exercises through your team

-Working with planning, sourcing, quality, technical and design functions to ensure that the right product gets delivered at the right place at the right time

-Budgeting and planning and being responsible for key financial KPIs- profitability, margins, revenue, etc

-Managing a team of buyers and junior buyers, mentoring them and developing their skills

-Managing all key supplier relationships, pursuing cost reduction exercises, product re-engineering, setting benchmarks and standards in terms of sustainability, compliance and ethics

Senior Buyer/Buying Manager-  Lingerie: The person:

The ideal candidate:

-MUST have at least 15 years experience in lingerie buying ideally within a European high street brand

-Must have had management experience

-Must have an excellent eye for product and trends

-Must be willing to live and work in Dubai as an expat
