Sales Manager - Childrenswear

We are recruiting a Sales Manager across Childrenswear to join this established fashion supplier to manage key accounts across the UK & Europe focusing on girlswear and boyswear. You will take ownership of the sale strategy, building strong relationships with clients to increase revenue.

This role would suit someone with a proven track record of building and maintaining partnerships with key high street retailers including experience working with NEXT.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and grow key accounts in the UK and European markets for girlswear and boyswear.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with buyers, negotiating and finalising sales contracts.
  • Present seasonal collections to clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of product details, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the kidswear market.
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and sales presentations, acting as the key point of contact for all sales-related activities.
  • Provide forecasting and sales reports to senior management, ensuring clear communication of goals, challenges, and opportunities.

Person specification:

  • Past experience in a sales role within the kidswear industry.
  • Experience working with high street retailers ideally including NEXT or other large commercial accounts.
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and driving sales growth in the UK and European markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • A commercial mindset with strong numerical and analytical skills to track sales performance and identify opportunities.
