Sales Account Manager - Ladieswear

We are excited to be working with this long-standing leader in the supplier marketplace.  After a huge recruitment drive over the past year, they are now looking for a new Sales Account Manager who has strong knowledge of the fast fashion marketplace. 

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager to come and join them. The role will entail growing and developing existing and new businesses. You will naturally show passion for high street fashion with an understanding of current trends and consideration for the customers’ needs.

Role & responsibilities:

  • To build relationships with the buying teams
  • Lead, organise and execute customer meetings.
  • Follow through all customer meetings with internal teams.
  • Manage margin and seasonal budgets.
  • Look for new product opportunities within the manufacturing boundaries.
  • Lead and implement seasonal strategies.
  • Comp and directionally shop with the design team.
  • Chase weekly sales reports from the customers and act on findings.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure that samples are ‘buyable’
  • Ensure the orderbook is planned with the production team.
  • Drive, maintain and grow key lines
  • Attend job costing meetings.
  • Implement seasonal best and worse and present to the design team.
  • Working closely with the sales manager / sales director.

The candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years account manager experience.
  • To have commercial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation sills and co –ordination skills.
  • Leadership and problem solving skill
  • Budget and forecasting management.
  • Enthusiastic approach to both customer and internal teams
