A bit about the role
Selfridges’ vision is to reinvent retail with a purpose to create sustainable future for our customers. To support us in achieving this vision and purpose we have set ambitious targets for our Reselfridges proposition, which includes our five circular business models – Pre-Loved, Resell, Rental, Repair and Refill.
As the Reselfridges Buying Admin you will provide the administrative support needed to grow our Pre-Loved and Resell accessories offers specifically, helping source items from our trusted suppliers as well as supporting the buyback process for items we source directly from customers.
For Pre-Loved, you will work closely with the assistant buyer and merchandising team to help ensure Reselfridges stock is received into the business in a timely manner, you will be responsible for raising purchase orders, liaising with external suppliers and working closely with our warehouse team.
For Resell, you will support in reviewing customer submissions and facilitating key processes required to merchandise the item online or in store. You will also be the point of contact for customer or product related queries from Customer Services Centre (CSC) and the Distribution Centre (DC).
This is a 6- month Fixed Term Contract.
As the Reselfridges Accessories Buying Admin, key responsibilities include:
Pre-Loved:
Creating new skus and raising purchase orders on Retek, ensuring accuracy.
Setting up any new supplier accounts, liaising with the new suppliers and the Selfridges accounting team.
Monitoring deliveries, supporting external supliers throughout the booking / delivery process, and communicating to the wider business clear delivery updates.
Monitoring any warehouse queries which arise during the delivery process, resolving any issues within a timely manner.
Supporting the assistant buyer to maintain the product catalogue.
Monitoring Reselfridges Requests, liaising with external suppliers on availability and following up with the retail operations team on any confirmed sales.
Resell:
Support in reviewing and approving customer product submissions.
Support in determining the retail channel for buyback items, working closely with our Merchandising teams to make sure decisions are in line with our wider Reselfridges strategy and product offering.
Approve POs to ensure products are made available for sale quickly and smoothly.
Raise transfers to ensure buyback items are merchandised in the appropriate channel.
Monitor submissions to ensure adherence to SLAs and rapid identification of any issues in the process.
Support with customer service and distribution centre queries – for example, queries related to product condition and/or rejections
