Product Operations Director - Fashion

I am delighted to be recruiting for this exciting new opportunity.My client is looking for a strategic and results driven Production Operations Director to join an incredibly successful fashion business supplying to a global e-commerce business.

You will need to be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership, commercial, organisational and communication skills. Ideally from a Fashion Buying, Sourcing, or Sales background you will have a proven track record working within an online business of delivering sales and margin growth. to be considered for this role I am looking for someone with a strong work ethic who can deliver a strategy that continuously pushes boundaries and can create innovative solutions.
This is a pivotal role for my client and this role will ideally be based in their Central London Office ( option to be Manchester based )

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the end to end running of the business model.
• Lead a global team in multiple time zones.
• Oversee and manage; sourcing, design, sales, QA, product compliance, merchandising and capacity management
• Manage strategy implementation.
• Manage, own and nurture successful client relationships and develop successful supplier partnerships.
• Achieve competitive pricing & lead times, ensure all business KPI's are met.
• Constantly exploring ways to maximise sales and develop commercial opportunities.
• A passion and understanding of product sustainability, buying ethically and responsible purchasing practices.

Person Specifications:

• 10+ years of leadership experience working across multiple functions from buying, sourcing or sales.
• Proven track record of success in being a leader and building a team in either a retail or supplier business.
• Result driven mindset.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• Confident, clear and concise communicator.
• Ability to multitask with good problem-solving skills.
