Our client is seeking experienced Fashion Retail / E-Commerce Merchandisers/planners, based in Australia, across all levels who are open to an incredible opportunity to relocate to Los Angeles, California. Our client is a globally recognised, trend lead apparel and lifestyle brand with state-of-the-art headquarters in LA and they are looking to expand their talented team with top-tier buyers.

The ideal candidate has a strong sense of fashion trends, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to balance creativity with commercial strategy. You will play a pivotal role in analysing consumer trends, planning product assortments, and working with buying, and marketing teams to create collections that meet market demands.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Work cross functionally with buying, e-commerce merchandisers, marketing and re-order teams.
• Analyse sales and margin performance, suggest promotions and markdowns.
• Develop and manage annual, seasonal and monthly merchandise strategies.
• Create pre-season assortment plans using historical data.
• Assist in the execution and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly trading reports for the Merchandising department.
• Review quarterly hindsight to drive future strategic ranges, profit and assortment decisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Person Specification:

• 6+ years of experience in fashion merchandise planning.
• BA/BS Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience using Shopify as an e-commerce platform.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work productively in a team environment
