We are working with a creative and fun accessories business that are looking for an Operations Manager!
Based in London, in a beautiful studio you will be overseeing the day-to-day management of inventory, production, wholesale operations, and customer service. They want someone highly organised who will ensure a seamless operation of their studio and maintaining high standards across all aspects of our supply chain and order fulfilment.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Order and manage all raw materials, ensuring stock levels align with production needs.
- Track usage and reorder materials accordingly.
- Record deliveries and update inventory in Zedonk.
- Calculate costs and input weekly production data into Zedonk.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring payments and deliveries are managed effectively.
- Review wholesale orders and collaborate with the team to develop production plans.
- Create and process orders in Zedonk, booking production schedules.
- Generate and print barcodes where necessary.
- Provide post-shipping follow-ups, including SKU management and order confirmations.
- Oversee customer service inquiries, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Handle replacements for damaged or incorrect orders.
- Generate shipping labels for DHL and Royal Mail.
- Ensure all unfulfilled orders are processed in Shopify.
Person Specifications:
- Experience in inventory management, order fulfilment, or operations management preferably in a fashion business.
- Experience or willingness to learn inventory management systems such as Zedonk and Shopify (or similar inventory/order management systems).
- Have excellent time management skills and remain calm and collected when it comes to juggling multiple tasks in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and relationship management skills.
