Operations & Logistics Manager -Fashion Brand

My client , a leading fashion brand are looking to appoint an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to lead and oversee the operations functions across their Uk and global wholesale business This is a key role in ensuring seamless order fulfilment, efficient processes, and outstanding customer service is delivered across their business .

In this role you would be responsible for optimising all operational activities, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time, while leading, motivating, and developing the customer service, allocation, and warehouse teams. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies, supporting business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Experience of working and overseeing Warehousing and logistic teams is key for this role . Main Responsibilities include :

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities, including:
  • Order book and delivery schedule management
  • Partner communication
  • Inventory levels and allocations
  • Customer service
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouses, identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Manage warehouse forecasting
• Collaborate on IT and warehouse projects,.
• Work closely with Finance and Credit Control.
• Lead the planning and execution of seasonal launches.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and high fulfilment rates,.
• Develop and refine reporting processes
• Coach and manage the Operations/Allocations team,.

Person Specification

• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, within the fashion and retail industry
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
• A proactive and solutions-driven mindset, with a passion for efficiency and process improvement.
• Experience working with operational systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in overseeing warehouse and logistics teams and operations
• Strong business financial acumen
