Menswear Buyer - Fashion Retailer

An iconic fashion brand renowned for its iconic menswear and womenswear collections has an exciting and extremely rare opportunity for a Menswear Buyer with strong product development experience to join their established yet growing head office team.

As the Menswear Buyer you will be responsible for managing the entire menswear category, the development process, range planning and range building working alongside the Creative Director and design team. You will work closely with external suppliers, international manufacturers and fabric mills. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will work closely with internal teams such as Garment Tech, Production and Marketing.

The ideal applicant must have previous Menswear Buying experience working for a premium retailer, heritage or lifestyle brand at an established level. Demonstrating a strong understanding of product development, people management, category management and experience working with external suppliers and Far East factories. You must be an excellent communicator (written & verbal), highly analytical with advanced technical fabric knowledge, be proficient using Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Illustrator, and have excellent knowledge of garment construction & grading, wash-care labels and managing the full product development process. International travel may be required.
