Mens Woven Designer

We are looking for a talented Men's Woven Designer to join a trend led fashion brand. Reporting into a Senior Designer and working closely with the team to create mood and inspiration for the relevant season. This role requires creative individual with a deep understanding of men's woven fashion, and a good knowledge of fabrics and mills .This role offers hybrid working -4 in the office and 1 from home.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Researching and translating inspirational concepts and trends whilst maintaining brand aesthetic.
• Source new and exciting fabrics with mills and factories.
• Present sketches and designs to Senior Management for selection.
• Travel to visit suppliers to work one on one which helps to build relationships.
• Creatively manage your area proposing continued ways to drive newness & incremental business opportunity.
• Work closely with the wider team
• Responsible for managing your own workload and to ensure design process is on schedule to critical path and meeting deadlines.

Person Specifications:

• Previous experience designing men's woven for brand or supplier
• Computer skills in: Adobe Illustrator , Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook (email)

• Great eye for design, being able to communicate your ideas onto paper.
• Technical knowledge fabrics, as well as garment construction
• Experience working with factories and suppliers.
• A talented individual with a can do attitude.
• Good team player and communicator.
