Junior Accessories / Footwear Designer

This is an opportunity for a junior trend lead bag / footwear designer to join a leading private label business, operating globally.

Working closely with the design manager, you will be responsible for supporting with the design and execution of bags and footwear ranges, for a leading UK high street retailer.

Day to day you will be researching the market via shopping trips; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; attending buyer meetings; communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

The role will suit a passionate, creative and proactive accessories and / or footwear design specialist with a sound knowledge of processes.
