Our client is a successful womens tailoring supplier, with an impressive UK retail client base.
They are now seeking to recruit an experienced import merchandiser to join their growing team.
The main purpose is to ensure timely delivery of product to their key customer accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customer accounts, managing orders from inception to delivery
• Raise orders on in-house PLMS system.
• Manage the critical path for your orders.
• Progress chasing with offshore factories, to ensure the smooth running of the critical path.
• Where relevant, order and / or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers.
• Source and test fabrics as required
• Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries.
• Generate progress reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in a similar merchandising role
• Wovens, outerwear and/or tailoring product experience highly desirable
• Strong communication skills, in particular dealing with international suppliers.
• Well organised with good attention to detail.
