Our client is a successful fashion supplier, with an impressive UK retail client base, in addition to their own in house brands.
They are now seeking to recruit an experienced import merchandiser to be office based in their modern Manchester based offices.
The main purpose is to ensure timely delivery of product to their key customer accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Account Managers on key accounts, whilst also being part of the Merchandise team managing orders across the vast stock range.
• Raise orders with off shore factories.
• Manage the critical path process.
• When required, order and / or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers.
• Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in a similar import merchandising role
• Solid I.T skills including excel.
• Strong communication skills, in particular dealing with
international suppliers.
• Well organised with good attention to detail.
