Our Designers here at Next are always looking forward. Looking for that next thing, focusing on trend and pushing the boundaries of what we can offer our fantastic customer base. Working as a key part of the critical path; creating new and innovative designs across Homeware print.

The role
Researching the latest print trends relevant to various customer profiles, then communicating this information to your team and senior managers is a key part of this role. We would ask you to produce on trend print designs that tastefully represent and reflect the latest trends into the Next customer base. Day to day roles could be things like briefing suppliers and continuing to build great relationships whilst working closely with the Assistant Designers & sourcing team to support the print design aspect of Homeware. This fast paced role is perfect for someone looking to focus on elevating their designs for the Homeware print design category.

About you
We would love you to have previous experience working within a UK brand, supplier or high street retailer. Extensive previous experience working on print design would be essential. Hand painting and hand drawing skills as well as Adobe suite is essential to this role. A great taste level and a real passion for the latest trends and how to translate these in an elevated way, whilst being enthusiastic attitude and team player. Confident communication skills and the ability to manage an Assistant Designer.

The team
You would be joining an amazing team whose enthusiasm for design, production and elevation is the main focus. A wealth of experience across multi-fabrications and innovative progression is one of the many plus points of joining this team!
