GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST

Our client is an established and successful garment supplier of mens and womens multi product apparel. An opportunity has arisen within their technical team for an experienced garment technologist.

The role:
• To organise the production of approved prototypes for Menswear and womenswear through liaison with internal teams and offshore factories
• To provide and chase samples from manufacturers to company guidelines
• To assist with all technical aspects of the garments from the development, fitting and sampling stages through to production
• To translate design sketches into workable technical construction notes and diagrams

Requirements:
• Experience in similar role within fashion, ideally within multi product
• Experience of sample fitting sessions with the designers and technical ability to make accurate notes relating to garment construction and fit
• Strong communication skills, with previous success of liaising with offshore factories
