GARMENT DESIGNER ( HYBRID / DERBY BASED OFFICE)

*Fantastic opportunity just in * GARMENT MULTI PRODUCT DESIGNER ( HYBRID OPTION ) 3 DAYS OFFICE DERBYSHIRE

On behalf of our long established & well known client we are now searching for a talented garment designer with a versatile & multi product handwriting across  ladies , men's  tailoring, casual, knitwear ,shirts/ blouses , dresses , trousers ,  wovens , jersey , knits , polo etc... your role will be to create and develop a full range of garments to a specific brief and deadline and support there ability to retain existing customers and win new business.

You must be proficient in using adobe Illustrator on a daily basis on Mac ,able to show designs in figure illustration as well as tech packs working drawings

designing with sustainability , inclusion and diversity key within all projects.

Follow up visits at wearer trial stage to to gain feedback on ranges

Initiate lab dips , handlooms and any fabric development requirements with the fabric development team

Produce design presentation boards, including market research , trend and colour direction using illustrations or range plan formats with the use of illustrator and photoshop software.

Work with account managers and sales team to present design work to potential and existing customers supporting in presentations where required.

Strong pattern making and sewing skills.

PLM system knowledge highly desirable.
