Denim Designer

We are looking for an innovative and fashion forward Denim Designer to join a highly successful fashion company.

Based in central London location, you will be working closely with the design team and responsible for designing women's denim. You'll be ahead of the trends and hot on market research with a strong understanding on fabric, washes and shape.

This role offers a performance related bonus.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Creating on-trend, innovative yet commercial denim designs.
• Regular market and competitor research to be up to date with the latest trends.
• Produce accurate and detailed CADs and technical packs for product development.
• Communicate confidently and effectively with Buyers in meetings.
• Create and develop designs tailored to the company's customer base. Identifying and understanding the end needs of specific customers.
• Oversee sampling ensuring deadlines are met.
• Liaising with overseas factories.

Person Specifications:

• At least 4 years' experience as a denim Designer.
• Passionate and creative a sound knowledge denim.
• Team player who is friendly, ambitious and determined.
• Proficient in Adobe software and can CAD.
• A strong understanding of the current high street trends.
