Our Food Buying & Product Development team are now looking for a driven Data Manager to oversee recipe data management, ensure compliance, and lead the transition to a new ERP system, shaping the future of our operations at Harrods.
About the Role
As a Production Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our recipe management systems. You will lead data governance, oversee system improvements, and play a critical role in the implementation of a new ERP system to enhance operational efficiencies. Working closely with chefs, procurement, buying, IT, and production teams, you will bridge the gap between operations and data management, driving continuous improvement.
Other responsibilities will include:
Recipe & ERP System Management – Oversee the setup, maintenance, and integration of recipe data across systems (Qadex & SAP).
ERP Transformation Project – Lead the migration to a new ERP system, ensuring smooth integration and minimal operational disruption.
Data Integrity & Compliance – Conduct regular data audits, ensuring compliance with Harrods’ standards and food safety regulations.
Leadership & Collaboration – Manage and mentor a team of Data Assistants, liaising with key stakeholders across buying, production, food safety, and IT.
Process Optimisation & Reporting – Develop dashboards and reports to analyse recipe performance, cost management, and ingredient usage, driving continuous improvement.
About You
You will be an experienced Data Manager with a strong background in data management, ideally within food manufacturing or a related industry. You’ll also have a deep understanding of recipe management systems or ERP platforms, with ERP implementation and SAP experience highly desirable. A solid knowledge of food ingredients, allergens, and regulatory compliance is essential to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across our production processes.
You will also have:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Experience leading process improvements and system transformations.
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
