As the groceries buyer, you will take charge of a segment of the ambient category for this food retailer. Key responsibilities include supplier management, product selection, pricing strategies, supplier relationship management, and overseeing the supply chain critical path.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience as a buyer, preferably in supermarket retail. The role requires a highly motivated and innovative individual with a problem-solving mindset, capable of introducing fresh ideas and alternative approaches to traditional food retail practices. Experience managing butcher or fishmonger counters would be a significant advantage.

This position offers a competitive salary of up to £55,000, plus an annual bonus of up to £4,000. The office is located in central London. Employees also enjoy a generous 25% discount. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
