Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper | Heywood | Salary: £33k DOE

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm

Our client is a well established and successful family run business who are a national organisation! They are actively recruiting for a Bookkeeper on a full time basis.

Responsibilities for a Part time Bookkeeper (but not limited to):

  • Preparing month and year end accounts
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger
  • Payroll - both weekly and monthly using Sage for small team

Bookkeeper Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience within Bookkeeping
  • AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player, along with strong communication skills
  • Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel and knowledge of Sageline 50 is essential
