We are looking for an experienced payroll professional to lead and support our payroll team during a major business transformation. Join Harrods as a Payroll Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll operations during our SAP S/4HANA implementation. About the Role As Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee the payroll team and maintain business-as-usual activities while supporting the transition to a new ERP system. Reporting to the Assistant Payroll Manager, you will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations during this critical period. Your key responsibilities will also include: Overseeing daily payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Managing escalated payroll queries and ensure compliance with statutory obligations. Supervising a team of payroll professionals, allocating tasks and mentoring team members. Supporting payroll system and process improvements, particularly related to the SAP S/4HANA transition. Acting as a key liaison for payroll-related queries from internal and external stakeholders. About You You will be a confident and proactive payroll professional with experience leading or supervising payroll teams in fast-paced environments. Your strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and payroll systems will ensure compliance and efficiency during this period of change. Excellent leadership and communication skills will be essential in supporting and guiding the team. You must also have: A strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including tax, NI, pensions, and statutory payments. Proven experience in payroll supervision or team leadership. Proficiency in payroll systems (Resourcelink preferred) and knowledge of HR platforms like Workday.
