Assistant Merchandiser - International

We are working with a global fashion brand who are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join their International department. You will be supporting in the management of the end-to-end process of the critical path along with ensuring strong communication with suppliers as well as supporting the merchandising function with analysis to ensure a balanced and commercial range.

This role would suit someone currently working at a Senior Allocator level or current Assistant Merchandiser who is ambitious, organised and a great team player, ideally with international merchandising experience, although not essential.

This role offers hybrid working.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Support in the management of the department critical path with the cross functional counterparts to ensure timely delivery of the product to International partners.
• Managing shipment approvals
• Flagging any risks or opportunities to Senior Merchandiser. Making suggestions and offering solutions to production problems.
• Supplier analysis for end of season reviews (monitor KPIs)
• Support in managing the option framework ensuring a balanced range for all channels and markets.
• Create necessary trading reports to support global overview of performance weekly/ monthly/ seasonal. Ad hoc.

Person specification:

• Experience at a Senior Allocator level or current Assistant Merchandiser in a fashion environment
• International merchandising experience highly advantageous
• Good communication & time management skills
• Numerate & Analytical, intermediate level on Excel
• Organised with ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong in decision-making
• Friendly and a team player!
