An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful fashion supplier as a Sales Account Manager. This role offers a fantastic chance to work across multiple product categories in ladies' and menswear, managing and developing strong relationships with both existing and new accounts. We are looking for a driven professional with extensive product knowledge, a strong sales track record, and a solid understanding of the critical path from concept to production.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in fashion supply who combines strong numerical skills with creative flair and a passion for products! Based in the London office 5 days a week.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow new and existing accounts, creating long-term relationships.
- Working closely with overseas factories in the Far East, ensuring seamless daily communication.
- Handling costings, negotiating prices, and managing deliveries.
- Constantly sourcing new fabrics and developing new suppliers.
- Attending buyer meetings, discussing pricing, delivery schedules, and product feedback.
- Collaborating with design teams to develop and refine products for customers.
- Undertake regular shopping and inspiration trips to global destinations with the Design team.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Managing the critical path and ensuring orders are handled efficiently.
Person specification:
- Womenswear & Menswear experience working within a fashion supplier.
- Strong product experience and be a proven product developer.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - comfortable liaising with factories and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident, proactive, and passionate about product development.
