Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for fashion and sport? We're looking for someone like you to drive the development of trend-setting, technically proficient accessories for both men's and women's collections.
As our Accessories Product Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in creating and producing standout bags, headwear, knits, and loungewear across our diverse brand portfolio. You'll work directly with our design teams, sales, factories, and suppliers to bring innovative concepts to life, from initial design and development to final production.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the product development process for all accessory collections, ensuring timely production.
- Collaborate closely with the Accessories Designer to create line lists and price lists.
- Negotiate with factories on pricing (FOBs) and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure all samples meet deadlines and reflect the desired aesthetics.
- Oversee prototypes, SMS, pre-production, and QR requests with close follow-up to factories.
- Conduct research on materials, components, construction techniques, and finishes.
- Produce visual research, sketches, Tech Packs, and mock-ups as required.
- Maintain accuracy in Tech Packs, BOMs, and production documentation.
- Track progress on sampling, shipments, raw materials, and budgets.
- Regularly update WIP reports and resolve any timeline or quality issues.
- Identify and address quality control concerns, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production.
Person Specification
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar product development role.
- Experience working with international suppliers, including visits to the Far East or Europe.
- Strong eye for detail, quality, and design.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Solution-focused with the ability to handle challenges with flexibility and resilience.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
